POLICIES AND INFORMATION
Orders

Payment
Online: The preferred method of payment for online orders is by credit card, through PayPal. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can set one up here. You can also use PayPal without opening an account.

Offline: Bellhop Greetings does accept checks and (of course) cash, but only at craft fairs or other real-world locations. In other words, if you can't physically hand us the check, we can't accept it.

Shipping
All orders, unless agreed upon by prior arrangement, are shipped USPS ground.

Bellhop Greetings endeavors to turn around every order as quickly as possible. Most orders for non-customized products go out within two days and arrive within a week. However, given our very small staff, ink shortages, postal holidays, rain, sleet—in other words, any unforeseen circumstance—your order may take slightly longer to process. We appreciate your patience. If you placed an order that has not arrived, please let us know as soon as possible at orders@bellhopgreetings.com.

Bellhop Greetings is not responsible for lost or stolen orders.

Returns
All sales are final.

Custom Orders
We are always willing to discuss custom orders. Whether you would like to modify one of our existing designs, or create something entirely new, contact us at info@bellhopgreetings.com. Bellhop Greetings reserves the right to limit the number of custom orders it will accept. Note: Delivery of custom orders may take up to four weeks. This four weeks does not include time needed to create, revamp or perfect a design.

Bellhop Greetings retains all rights to any custom designs, and reserves the right to reproduce them commercially.

Wholesale/Consignment
Wholesale? We're willing to talk. Contact us here. Sorry—no consignment orders.

About

Us
Bellhop Greetings is a woman-owned business based in Chicago, Ill. I started out designing Christmas cards for friends, then got this lark about applying for the DIY Trunk Show, then I actually got into the show...and it just snowballed from there. I don't have your typical graphic design background. I have a journalism degree and an editing career. But I did grow up in a house where literature, art, history, and humor were important. Greeting cards allow me to combine all those things in a neat package. My inspiration can come from many places: song lyrics, snippets of poetry, Art Deco advertisements, conversations, WPA posters, or even a gloriously curving bit of typography.

Community
Giving is good. Helping is good. To that end, Bellhop Greetings uses a portion of its profits to support Partners in Health, a medical charity providing community-based health care to impoverished people around the globe. They do amazing work—you should go see.

Whenever possible, Bellhop Greetings uses recycled products in its greeting cards, envelopes, and packaging.  We are currently looking for an alternative to PVC soft-fold boxes.  Contact us if you have some ideas.
